Volunteers are needed for Santa's Workshop. There are 2 shifts available each day Monday, 12/7 through Friday, 12/11. The shifts are 8:30-12:00 and 12:00-3:00. If you are available to work, please send in your volunteer form or a note addressed to PTO-Santa's Workshop and let us know the day(s) and shift(s) you are willing to work.
Santa's Workshop proceeds are used to fund the AR Store and the AR Store is a great incentive for the kids to earn as many AR reading points as possible. They use the points to "buy" things in the AR Store in January and May.
If you have any questions, please e-mail phespto@yahoo.com.

KidzArt Recycling Project - Supplies Needed
KidzArt is beginning a new unit in January on recycling. Your child will learn what recycling is all about, and why we should recycle. KidzArt is asking for your help! They need students to bring recycled items from home that are CLEAN AND DRY to the school by December 12.
Examples of clean recycled items are:
*old post cards *clean straws *flatten cereal boxes *old calendars *flat buttons *chip bags *labels off of cans
*flat craft items *candy wrappers *colorful magazine covers
Use your imagination! Please send items that are flat surface (not too bulky) that can be glued to a piece of paper. KidzArt is asking that you do not send anything that has sharp edges or that is made of glass. Again all recycled items must be thoroughly cleaned and dried.
KidzArt will use these recycled items to create an art project, which will be put on display. Please plan to stop by the school to see all of the students' wonderful creations. Also, don't forget to keep collecting paper towel rolls for sending home your child's art work.
